Welcome to the Studio Ceramica journal.
If you have been searching for pottery classes in Toronto, this is where your journey begins.
Toronto's Dreamiest Studio is located in Toronto's west end, in a historic brick and beam building at 87 Wade Ave, a short walk from Bloor and Lansdowne.
We built it to be a calm, welcoming and beautiful place to work with clay: warm light, small classes, and expert instruction, whether it is your first time at a pottery wheel or your hundredth.
Our pottery classes and courses in Toronto
- First Spin: Pottery Wheel Intro, our single-session intro class: one evening at the wheel, for a date night, a birthday, or a first taste of the craft.
- 4-Week Pottery Wheel Foundations, a four week course that takes you from centring your first piece to glazing your finished work.
- 6-Week Hybrid Pottery Wheel and Handbuilding Course, six weeks split between the wheel and handbuilding, for beginners who want to learn both.
- 8-Week Pottery Wheel Explorations, eight weeks at the wheel for students ready to develop their own work.
- Private and corporate events, for team building, birthdays, and celebrations at the studio.
- The Sunday Membership Program, studio access every Sunday for experienced students working on their own pieces.
In every class and event, you will be guided the whole way through, and you will leave with pottery you made yourself.
